I first met Zephyr Teachout when she was "a 31-year-old lawyer in black high-top sneakers" at Dean campaign HQ in Vermont.
I was impressed by her then, followed her career when it took her to North Carolina, and I'm impressed by her now.
"My job was to walk up to the bull, bother him a little bit, maybe tickle his nose, and then run as fast as I could."
Teachout pauses and grins wide.
"So now I’m running for governor of the state of New York."
She has a helluva name - and a dookie to boot.

Looks like Cuomo handed her some ammunition.
