So, how many CNG converter business's are in G-boro ?

What's the median cost ?

$12 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding from the U.S. Department of Energy

Oh well, so much for a market solution.

CNG fueled vehicles have some significant advantages for use in mass market vehicles that EVs do not have -- range, and refill time.

Electrics will only become successful in the market when technology allows them to overcome disadvantages in those categories.

Twelve million is probably sufficient to cover the cost of 15 CNG stations. Neither category of vehicle has anywhere near the infrastructure available that's needed for mass market success.

I suspect that will probably change for CNG vehicles when fracking comes into extensive use in this country. CNG vehicles might be significantly less expensive than other vehicles to operate long term if that happens.

I'd rather be able to refill at my house...
