Tony Wilkins keeps racking up endorsements in the District 6 county commission race, including some kind words from a sitting GSO councilman, Zack Matheny.
With no incumbent and no household names in the race, I wonder if endorsements might be more important than usual in this one.
I agree that Tony has a great chance of doing well in this race. I think he will be a great Commissioner. He must be making at least one of his opponents nervous, as the group endorsing his opponent are handing out voter guides at the polls trying to pass them off as official "Republican voter guides", but they have been caught doing so.

Although Tony is getting endorsements by some very popular and solid Republican public servants, past & present, at least one of is opponents has none. Tony built solid relationships during his tenure as Executive Director of the Party, and his many supporters see that. That being said, the county party is not permitted by our bylaws to endorse or recommend anyone in a primary. The fact that some members of a PAC supporting Tony's opponent are resorting to questionable tactics means they must be concerned.

Wonder which PAC that might be? Tough one.
