At this point the logical assumumption is that the N&R has made a conscious decision not to cover this story in detail. Previously, the daily paper decided not to cover the curb market story in detail. So...why are they abdicating the local government beat?

There is also a DH Griffin connection to the curb market controversy. Rodney Gann, who submitted the RFP for the Farmers Community Collaborative, has done lots of landscaping jobs for DH Griffin. Almost all of the curb market complaints that were sent to the city council came from Brian, Rodney's brother. The Ganns have been a primary source for John Hammer's articles. Small world, isn't it?
