Obviously a fake. In addition to not being written in Kenyan, it is the wrong shade of green.

Nice try, though.

David Boyd

Everyone knows they are only valid with a raised seal.

Mick

Why did it take so long? Why now? Something just isnt right with ths.
;)

Mick

DH,

I understand our kids met at the beach last week. Small world.

Do we need any more proof that we live in the Society of the Spectacle or what? Rumors about a president's "fitness" for office have always floated about, but this "big lie" is not going away I'm afraid.

Andrew Brod

When Trump heard the news, he accused the president of failing to release his college records, denying requests that he reveal what he had for dinner last night, and refusing to say whether he likes to spoon after sex.

"I like to spoon after sex," Trump said. "It's fantastic. Sometimes I even cry. But the president won't say one way or the other. What is he hiding?"

Preston Earle

I don't put any stock in this "birther" stuff because I figure if there was anything to it the Hillery Clinton folks would have found it before the 2008 election and she would be president now. On the other hand, this particular exemplar looks like a photocopy from a bound book that was then copied onto green "safety" paper to give it more credibility. Why go to the all that trouble?

Ed Cone

Donald Trump is a world-class spooner. World-class.

News Item: Recently released documents

Shouldn't this a mortgage backed securities thread or or are we talking about something the MSM actually covers?

Sweeps is coming up!

David Boyd

Perhaps, Ed, you might spoon Trump someday and then compare/contrast his style with Andy's.

JustBecause

Disappointed, Boyd?

CIA Snitch

Bet you local boys had no idea that Obama has a fake dead man Social Security Number...

Mick

Who the hell bothers with the formerly great turned nut case snake oil salesman JV!?

I know, I know.... "turned nut case"?

polifrog

It took Trump to do the job of the "watchdog" press and pressure the president to put an end to this nonsense.

Full disclosure of all presidential requirements would have avoided this unhealthy distraction. As such, this has been a sad example of a poor president once again finding political gamesmanship preferable to proper leadership.

However well played politically, caginess breeds suspicion and such political gamesmanship is unpresidential.

sean coon

ribbit. ribbit... croak.

Ed Cone

Yeah, this was totally Obama's fault for being a black guy with a funny name, and then thinking the compelling documentary evidence and testimony produced before today could quell a cryptoracist smear campaign not taking this extraordinary step much sooner.

bubba

"As such, this has been a sad example of a poor president once again finding political gamesmanship preferable to proper leadership."

This is just another distraction to divert attention away from the current administration's failures of leadership, and their disastrous policy debacles, but it does give the small-minds of Usual Suspects a little something to keep themselves busy.

As such, this news performs a valuable public service.

polifrog

When an individual charges racism where there is none, the charge of racism becomes an act of racism itself.

Don't be a racist. You not only marginalize your cause, but you belittle yourself.

Sad.

Thomas

"It took Trump to do the job of the "watchdog" press and pressure the president to put an end to this nonsense."

You really think this will end it? You don't know just how nutty the nuttiness is.

Ed Cone

I'm abashed.

How could I have presumed that any part of the effort to delegitimize Barack Hussein Obama as an African-born Muslim was based on his race?

What ignorance of our country -- its history, politics, and folkways -- I have displayed.

polifrog

You have nothing to point to for proof of racism in my comment but your race based presumptions?

Wow. Just wow.

Thomas

"You have nothing to point to for proof of racism in my comment..."

You think Ed was talking about racism in your comment?

Wow. Just wow.

polifrog

Thomas:

You don't know just how nutty the nuttiness is.

There may be some truth to that; the JFK assassination affair took on nutty cinematic proportions.

But, as I said, Full disclosure of all presidential requirements would have avoided this unhealthy distraction. As such, this has been a sad example of a poor president once again finding political gamesmanship preferable to proper leadership.

Thomas

Just "some" truth?. Take a peek over here.

There's no end to it, and there never was.

polifrog

Bubba:

As such, this news performs a valuable public service.

Absolutely.

It is a shame, though, that this valuable public service was not performed while campaigning thus side stepping this distraction but when a candidate is seducing members of the press with well creased pants and shivers up the leg....

Ed Cone

Frog, I didn't say your comment was racist in any way.

The world is bigger your lily pad.

bubba

It's interesting how Obama and the Usual Suspects think all this has been a big deal.

The facts tell a different story.

But by all means, keep up the blather, Gang........

Roch101

Rush, is that you?

JustCorbly

>>"When an individual charges racism where there is none, the charge of racism becomes an act of racism itself."

Utter crap. Not that it needs to be said. But, I guess it does.

American Man

A fake birth certificate from a fake American who unfortunately holds a position of Real Power. If this was real, it should have been released years ago, when first requested. Instead, Hussein held off until the proper request became a right demand, and finally had to pay for a forgery that he prays to Mecca will pass the smell test. I cannot wait for the truth to be revealed, that it is a fake birth certificate, and Hussein will be rightfully tried for treason against The United States of America.

Then, and only then, can we get down to business and get to solving the problems on hand: an economy that's crashing to earth faster than gravity, Sharia law growing amongst the lowest class, the impending Chinese takeover of this country, and the disease of liberalism. A tall task, and one which requires proper, native American born, leadership.

Mick

Is this one of your "big minded" birthers Bubba? You are right. Doesnt seem to be a big deal to this guy at all. An "Unusual Suspect" I guess. Have you chatted up Stormy yet?

polifrog

Thomas:

You think Ed was talking about racism in your comment?

Wow. Just wow.

And Ed Cone:

Frog, I didn't say your comment was racist in any way.

The world is bigger your lily pad.

Both of these statements would be more believable had Ed's first response not been:

I'm abashed.

How could I have presumed that any part of the effort to delegitimize Barack Hussein Obama as an African-born Muslim was based on his race?

What ignorance of our country -- its history, politics, and folkways -- I have displayed.

The walk-back is appreciated, at any rate.

JustCorbly:

>>"When an individual charges racism where there is none, the charge of racism becomes an act of racism itself."

Utter crap. Not that it needs to be said. But, I guess it does.

What is the source of racism in the following scenario?

There is a brook and in this brook there is a lily pad. Someone comes along and calls it racist.

Is the source of racism the brook, the lily pad or the individual accusing the lily pad of racism?

I would submit that there was no racism before the accuser stumbled upon the brook and that the racism in the lily pad's world left with the accuser.

When an individual charges racism where there is none, the charge of racism becomes an act of racism itself as the charge itself relies on viewing the world through the lens of race.

Terry

How could I have presumed that any part of the effort to delegitimize George Bush as an rich redneck was based on his race?

Grant

This is what happens when you point a video camera at your television.

bubba

"Is this one of your "big minded" birthers Bubba? You are right. Doesnt seem to be a big deal to this guy at all. An "Unusual Suspect" I guess. Have you chatted up Stormy yet?

Spew and slobber, and poor spew spew and slobber at that!

Go get a handkerchief and clean yourself off. You're disgusting.

RJ

what a bunch of f'ing tards...

Mick

So there were not a significant umber of "birthers" then? Good to know. I do believe their numbers have been exaggerated but you act as if they didnt exist or were just a handful of nuts. Not the case either. Talked to Stormy yet?

Ian McDowell

Since discovering that he looks so much like Edward Gorey's Mr. Earblass (albeit even more fey and wizened), I can't read Battlin' Bob Grenier's stock phrases like "The Usual Suspects" without imagining him saying them in a wispy falsetto.

So, Jeff, what does Polifrog look like? As freakish as Grenier and Davenport and the rest of the Teabaggers at the city meetings?

Ed Cone

Frog,

You hopped into a discussion in which race was mentioned, and said there is no racism here.

Your views were dismissed as fantastical and ill-informed, but not as racist.

This story is not about you, and you've added nothing to it. Hop along.

Thomas

The topic of terracentric vs heliocentric views has been mentioned here previously. Now we're faced with a ranunculus-centric viewpoint.

Roch101

Surely you meant to say a Nymphaeaceae-centric viewpoint.

Thomas

Possibly. The interwebs told me ranunculus is Latin for "little frog", but they have led me astray before.

Thomas

So the view is centric to the viewer, or that upon which the viewer sits. I think your version is better.

polifrog

And we devolve to Bevis and Butthead pontificating without rational argument and, of course, they thin they are the adults.

Ishmael

Who let Ricky Ricardo in here?

Andrew Brod

Good one, Ish. Frog has long had some 'splain' to do.

bubba

"I can't read Battlin' Bob Grenier's stock phrases like "The Usual Suspects" without imagining him saying them in a wispy falsetto.'....

Further proof that perverted assholes do indeed have the ability to write.

At least it's not his usual tortured prose, so we do have something positive to take away from the slime spot he left behind.

Brandon Burgess

poli: "It took Trump to do the job of the "watchdog" press and pressure the president to put an end to this nonsense."

--Uh, you do realize Trump and people like him are responsible for the nonsense.
