The new Laffer curve seems to require time travel to make any sense, which is just more evidence for how awesome it is.

When I read or hear liberals ridicule conservative economic claims, I often disagree. I may think the conservative analysis is wrong, but I don't think it's deserving of ridicule.
This is an exception. Mock away.
Noting the headline of Laffer's WSJ piece, it has to be said that the view that unemployment benefits are strongly stimulative is hardly controversial. It's a view held by the non-partisan CBO and others. Of course if Laffer is your oracle, then it hardly matters what other economists think.
