Took me a while, but I found a link to a page that lets you sign up for a free trial that lets you see "Your daily paper in electronic form Just as it appears in print!"

Less than an hour ago: "NYT paywall will link-friendly."

I've always found PDF duplicates of printed newspapers to be exceedingly annoying. The two mediums are different. Putting mirror images of printed pages on the web really doesn't make any more sense than trying to sell printed copies of web sites.
