Greensboro's final GoogleFi application is posted here.
This part made me feel good:
The community strongly supported and helped shape the City’s efforts.
Volunteers organized meetings, started Facebook pages, blogged, wrote op-eds, created a toolbar to track online activity, and built a webpage to aggregate blog posts and news.
Volunteers posted to YouTube...
The part that made me feel good:
A wiki page was established at googleforgreensboroapplication.wikispaces.com to engage the community in editing the RFI...It will remain active to continue to illicit feedback.
Perhaps the community should have edited more carefully. Or perhaps 'illicit feedback' can make us some money if Google goes elsewhere.
