The last sentence in this post was attack on conservatives/Republicans from non-partisan, non-ideological Ed Cone number two for today.

"The last sentence in this post was attack on conservatives/Republicans from non-partisan, non-ideological Ed Cone number two for today."

He's a little testy about the pushback detailing Democrat astroturfing on their patented "violent racist reaction" meme regarding the health care "reform" disaster.

Spag

Agreed, Bubba. He has no answer for Brad Miller although I'm sure he could clear that up with a phone call.

As to the substance of the post, it looks like Martinsville would be doing much better if only Obama had expanded government even more. Surprise, surprise, surprise. And then there are those nasty conservatives being mean to those people who believe in such things....or so they are trying to make us believe.

This is just part of the standard Left wing playbook which is probably why nobody except Left wingers are being suckered by it. Ask them to document the "hate" and "violence" and who they are blaming for it and the response is to increase the quantity of the accusations as opposed to dealing with the quality behind them.

You are right that they are astroturfing these tall tales to demonize the opposition (Roch?) and raise money from it.

They hate FOX News for providing a forum for the opposition and hence the truth to be told. Soon they will hate the internet, too. It really makes their lies harder to spread.

I have a cofession to make: I've been practicing my "throwing-stones-through-Democrat-office-windows-on-the-30th-floor" skills. It's a pretty tall order, even for a guy who used to be able to throw a baseball from mid right field to home plate on the fly.

Ed Cone

Even the FBI is in on this totally unfounded campaign.

Spag

So Ed, did you read the MKH piece about the lies surrounding the town halls from last summer and who was really engaging in violence? You didn't seem concerned about those acts of violence. What about the people throwing eggs at the Tea Party folks yesterday in Nevada? Any concern there? Did you call Brad Miller yet? Are you going to?

I think most of us are against violence as a method of political expression. The difference is that we don't lie about it nor is our concern merely relative to our politics whether stated or continuing to be hidden behind a phony veil of moderation and objectiveness.
