"Same as it ever was, same as it ever was."


While we chase the next big economic driver (creativity, aerotropolis, biotech, T&L, the places that thrive are not doing so...rather they focus on creating a high quality of life)...which is something we have not learned yet here. When we begin to balance investment in neighborhoods with investment in big economic development projects, we might get on the right path. But to forsake our neighborhoods while chasing the next big thing is simply bad policy. One that, at least from yesterday's N&R article on the budget, doesn't seem like one that our new City Manager believes in.
