It's been a while since anyone was excited about UNC football in October.
They're not a great team by any stretch, but (to damn them with faint praise) they're better than they've been, and the trend line is up.

College Football Rankings
No. 22 North Carolina
The Tar Heels (4-1) beat Connecticut 38-12 to move into the rankings for the first time since Oct. 28, 2001.

preston , it is hard to imagine how clemson fell off the map but to see UNC ranked is a positive thing for Butch Davis and the Heels , too bad it won't last long with Carolina Basketball right around the corner.
