The Proximity Hotel (www.proximityhotel.com), in North Carolina's Piedmont region, is striving for gold certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System. Only one hotel in the country — the Gaia Napa Valley in California — has that rating so far."
I don't understand why the powers that be in Greensboro don't seem able to get it that the name of the city is a great 21st century brand ... Sadly, many in the city (except for some people like the Proximity owners and some city staff) still have not understood or realized the importance of being green ... Greensboro lags in seeing that green businesses and a green outlook are key to prosperity ...
