A most excellent experiment. I frequently travel up to Delaware, and have noticed this phenomenon, though not with this degree of precision.

I always thought the South officially starts when you get into Virginia. Around Loudoun County. But now, I think its moved to about Fredericksburg.
but that article is ridiculous. It barely includes Richmond-which is a TRULY SOUTHERN city- much more Southern than Atlanta or Nashville even.
And Florida ain't the South, IMO.
