One big difference is that Phil Berger, Jr. doesn't have a legislative record on hot-button issues to run against.

Jr. is Senior.
Jr. is funded by Senior's establishment R buddies.
Junior's legislative record is his father's.

My bad. Apparently, Coulter and Levin on talk radio "outspent" Cantor in terms of negative attacks. So negative attacks win afterall.
