Plate 333 from Eadweard Muybridge's series "Animal Locomotion" is one of four works by the groundbreaking photographer in the collection of the Weatherspoon Museum (the others include a couple of his famous horse frames and a landscape of Yosemite). I often stop to look at his stuff when browsing the Spoon's photography online, but today's post was prompted by this review of a new biography of his freaky old self.
