5 cents of every dollar spent at the GSO Whole Foods on Wednesday will go to the local operations of Church World Service. That applies to gift cards, too.
CWS does a lot of good work in this town.So go spend some money at Whole Foods tomorrow.

I'm no great fan of Whole Foods or Mackey's well-documented views.
I am a huge fan, though, of the hard-working CWS team in GSO, and a great admirer of the work they do with newcomers in real need of help. Helping them in a small way was well worth the relative pittance I gave to an in-some-ways icky corporation.

I'd rather give directly to the church service than support a corporation that can't abide doing its fair share to give its employees affordable healthcare.
Do you have info on how to give directly, thx.
