Inspiration was adding the liner notes. Genius was adding the cats.
Just when I think I'm over the internet.
In other music news, my correspondents gave high marks to the New Year's Eve shows by the Avett Brothers at the GSO Coliseum and Phish at Madison Square Garden.

Avett Brothers on NYE was so much fun. I was exhausted the next day from standing for the 2 1/2 hours they played. I can only imagine how they must have felt. They certainly gave us our money's worth.
Big shout out to John Fields at Greenefields Productions (and his quieter cohorts at Natty Greene's) for making it happen!

Beautifully done. Eames chair, big speakers, record brush, vinyl crackle, album art, liner notes -- it's a little YouTube time machine.

Beautifully done, indeed. As much as I love Bob Marley, after nearly a week in Jamaica, that decidedly non-reggae rhythm of those "cool cats" out of the '50's was like a cool breeze off the ocean. Thanks for sharing.
