What does it say about our political system that a true warrior like DeMint thinks he can do more for his cause from the roost of a PAC/think tank than from the floor of the US Senate?

The special election will divert a lot of time and money from the anticipated Grover/Lindsey smack down in the primary. That should be a good thing for Graham.

Jeff - it tells me that he probably wouldn't have quit had the election results been more to his liking. It tells me he lacks the patience to be in the Senate. On the other hand, perhaps he just wanted to assist with the rebranding of the R's and wanted to make room for Tim Scott to be his replacement.
