The new N&R website has big issues with functionality and (more subjectively) aesthetics.* 

For example, this is not what I want to see when I look for an archived article:

"No such file or directory: ,ec_pubsub,No such file or directory: ,ec_pubsub,"

But it's what I get.

Pre-launch testing seems to have been inadequate.

Fix the problems quickly enough, and most people will forget they ever happened.

The longer they linger, the more reader concerns will be justified.   

*Thin content is a separate but very real problem.

It's been my experience that restoring the archive comes before rollout, as it's subsequently nearly impossible. Perhaps we're about to be presented with a paywall.

Does anyone know how many versions of the newspaper there are now? Paper, e-edition, e-edition for tablet with options for "Apple iPad" and "Table Edition", news-record.com, news-record.com mobile edition, others? I'd probably send them some money if I could figure out what I was buying.
