I'm still shocked he made it this far. If you want to win an election you vote with your head, not your heart. How exactly would a radical social conservative like Rick Santorum appeal to young men and women, independent voters, and moderate Republicans? How would he shift towards the center during the general election? That's how elections are won. Were Barry Goldwater alive today, he could've given the man some sage words of advice. Even George McGovern could've dropped some knowledge on the former senator. Santorum sounds like he came of age during the John Winthrop administration in Massachusetts Bay. I used to joke back in July that it would be a Santorum/Bachmann ticket. Hell, for a while there back in February it looked like that was a real possibility. In what was supposed to be the Anti-Obama election, Republicans have thus far acted like they're extremely content with our current president. They should start coalescing around Romney, which is exactly what they should've done several months ago.

the GOP still has Gingrinch and that other invisible guy. MSM will now say his name but it will sound like they have a mouth full of razor wire. Bless their hearts.
