It's impossible to see this amendment as anything other than an attempt by a minority that does not believe everyone has an inalienable right to decide who they marry or live with. Once you set a precedent for using the state constitution to enforce sectarian religious views, you're probably going to see more of the same effrorts to oppress and repress.
