I wanted to make a point that Kay Hagan may be taking her thwarting of Liddy Dole for granted, but I couldn't gather any information due to the blackout. Should I call her office's Dept. of History and make my point later? Is it too late? Simple information has been tough to come by today.

As usual, follow the money.

"Really? 'What does invalidate the "research" is the inappropriate use of "multiplier" effects to double—and triple—count loss estimates that were dubious to begin with.' "

Yeah.

We all know that "multipliers" are only valid when used to grossly exaggerate effects of local give-aways of tax money.

Nice try, except that the article you're agreeing with also says this:

"Siwek is taking a method that's useful for analyzing where in the economy we will likely see the effects of demand shifts, and pretending that it somehow reflects aggregate economic losses."

The inappropriate use of any technique is a bad thing. For example, your inappropriate use of the English language is unfortunate, but it doesn't condemn everyone's attempt to use that language.

Just received her usual email. Taunting constituent services, her "conservation" tour etc. As usual never any information on any issues.
