John Hammer: "The City Council needs to take a stand for open meetings."
John Robinson: "I don't understand the mayor's thinking on public access and accountability, particularly during a re-election campaign."
Allen Johnson: "This mayor has seemed lower-key and less accessible in office that when he first ran as a council candidate."
I for one, still can't figure out exactly what Asst. City Manager Mike Speedling does. A decision like that doesn't warrant his 6 figure salary.

Well it used to be said that cities like Greensboro had to pay six figure salaries to attract the best and the brightest.
Turned out they were wrong about that too.

couldn't help but notice, the number of early voters has doubled for the city council election. Looks like we are going to see quite a few different faces on city council after the election
