How is it non-conservative to slow down and look at all the options in an open manner? Maybe now someone will bother to actually run the numbers on all possibilities, including running the landfill with city employees. And then the council members can tell the citizens the positives and negatives of each option and why they're voting the way they are. Then we can all flap our arms and fly to the moon.

I guess the city attorney is a hack whenever his rulings contradict what Joe wants. I would have thought being an "outsider" would be a plus in this situation.

This sounds like a great job for an accountant. Maybe we should elect one to the city council. Oh wait, we did.
