Greensboro native Dockery Clark is serving as chief of staff for the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.

Dockery has held senior positions at companies including Bank of America and MillerCoors, and was most recently chief marketing officer for PBR (Professional Bull Riders).

And she's always known how to throw a party.

I'm no fan of the corporatized Democratic party, but you need skilled people to run big events, and I think the convention is trying to avoid corporate sponsorships.
