Eight of the nine members of the city council, including Vaughan, now say they would like to see a new, more open redistricting process.
Councilwoman Mary Rakestraw, who introduced the controversial plan, said Thursday she supports revisiting the vote but declined to discuss specifics of a new process.

Yeah, sure they say that now that about 7 of the 8 were about to face defeat in the next election.
I, for one, will not forget the stunt they tried to pull.

I think its too late for them. After November city council is going to look very different. Maybe a couple of the current members will still be there.
