People come from all over the world to see what Jackson County does with the worthless methane belching from its tiny old landfill in Dillsboro. The Jackson County Green Energy Park serves as a regional education resource and an economic incubator to create jobs. But its volume of methane is far more worthless than that in Greensboro's old landfill. Let's just continue to give ours away and burn off the rest.


Been saying it for years. Greensboro would rather die rather than live up to its marketing.


And why is Methane being flared when it's so easy to collect and use?
