Now would be a good time for the House Democrats to show that they learned something from the DeLay era: "[Pelosi] should insist that the ethics investigation move forward — and that Mr. Rangel relinquish his chairmanship during the inquiry. If Mr. Rangel continues to resist, the speaker should permanently reassign the gavel."
