Obama's NC campaign director is Marc Farinella.

Some background here.

Charlotte O says Obama will have about 100 paid staffers in the state.

The campaign is asking supporters to attend organizing meetings across NC over the next several days.

Marc Farinella...his name screams "I'm a Southerner." He's a Georgia boy ain't he? Alabama? South Carolina? I'm going to guess he's that pale boy I saw the other day, sporting the black turtle neck in the whatever the hell the liberal scum drive these days car. In the end I'll bet Obama's grand plan will prove too grand.

Yeah, real Southerners have names like...Cone.

I guess "He's one of us" didn't die with Jesse Helms.

An Italian surname can't be Southern? Tell that to the Ustica who formed the Italian Brigades and died fighting the Yankees. There's a reason the Confederate Battle Flag still hangs in Civitella del Tronto in Teramo, imbecille. Vaffanculo, voi chemangiate idiota.

Alan's remark just proves that there is an ignorant redneck element that the Obama campaign will never have a chance of reaching. For that group, it's a "Why even bother?" decision. Obama can win a few Southern states without winning a single one of those votes.

Having not yet decided who I am going to vote for, there is definitely a cynical side of me that would love to see the ignorant redneck reaction / complaining if Obama wins. (Some of them will even complain if McCain wins, and the realization that they are going to be complaining no matter what is kind of funny.) I really thought that such a potential scenario was but a semi-comical scene culled out of my worst generalizations about dumb white Southerners -- but I've seen and heard too much over the last several months to think that way anymore. There are still a great many of us who have yet to crawl out of the caves of Vicksburg.

I've been wondering this for a while, and as Alan Cone Bulluck brought up surnames and authenticity as themes, why "Alan Cone Bulluck" and not the more economical "Alan Bulluck"? Is it that having a last name that means castrated bull or steer has little cache in our burg but "Cone" says you are somebody? Our at least want folks to think you are somebody? Mebbe to make it more natural you should hyphenate it to Alan Cone-Bulluck, or how'bout Alán-Cone Bulluck and make everybody at the bar call you "Alán-Cone" a la "Jean-Marc" or some such frenchy shite. So, tell me Alán-Cone, what do the conservative scum drive now, the Ford Excursion, or a small-penismobile like a Vette?

I guess I drive a penis mobile?
