Hillary's man in North Carolina: "The fact that the Clinton campaign stationed Smith here signals how crucial the state is to her; she intends to fight for every vote."
Known for oppo research, but also a master strategist, Ace Smith is described by a friend and political ally as "a Michael Corleone."
Says a rival, "He'll be relentless and tough. He fits right in with the Clinton war machine."

Wouldn't a behind the scenes type guy make him more like Tom Hagen than Michael? If Smith is Hagen, is Hillary Michael? If Smith is Michael, is Hillary Vito? Is comparing your friend to someone that has to take refuge overseas after commiting a murder the best analogy?

If Hillary is Michael, then Bill is Vito. I think that makes Bill Richardson Tessio. "Tell Hillary it was just business."
So who's Fredo?
