I just got home from the game. I thought my head was going to explode. What a great game. Bring on another Catholic school with a Bulldog Mascot!!! GO WILDCATS!
I almost forgot. Talked Davidson basketball with Lefty Driesell while standing beside him as we took a pee before the game. Got a picture with Coach Driesell to boot! GO WILDCATS!
I checked out Davidson in the SoCon tourney after hearing you fellas talk him up all year.
Wow. He is fun to watch.
I thought the three possession stretch yesterday, after they had taken the lead, and he hit the two circus layups followed by the three from NBA range at the top of the key with the prettiest arc I've ever seen, was one of the best performances I've seen in my 30 years of watching the big dance.
Wow! is right. Great win for the program. These guys are legit. Not that we shouldnt have known that anyway. I knew they were better than just good but WOW/ Fun stuff. Had em beating The Zags but not Gtown. Wisconsin plays the kinda gamt that might just let em hang around too! Go Wildcats. Damn good ... "nice little team".
I thought they'd lose in the first round. Indeed I still think Gonzaga and Georgetown are both better teams. However you can't account for a transcendent Curry. In the second half of both games he decided to take over and G & G tried everything they knew to stop him. I don't think I've ever seen a better two-day performance in the tournament.
i picked davidson over the zags and the hoyas. (pat on back) fun to watch those guys launch shot after shot.
too bad i had oral roberts winning two games as well. ditto for clemson.
i'm done.
