Romney prepares to speak about religion.
WaPo: "Among white evangelicals who attend church at least weekly, more than half said they believe that the Mormon religion is not Christian...'It is fascinating,' said Albert Mohler Jr., president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 'It's just not Christianity.'"
As a religious debate, interesting. As framing for a political choice, unsettling.
Huckabee may be more to Mohler's taste. Huck's in GSO tonight -- wish I was able to see him.

Romney is trying to do what John F. Kennedy did in 1960 -- address and, hopefully, eliminate any concerns voters might have about his religion. At the same time, he supposedly has said there'll be no Muslims in his cabinet. If in fact that's what he said (he denies it), his plea strikes me as a bit hypocritical.
