Our long national nightmare has ended: Paris Hilton is out of jail after a grueling stretch of more than 72 hours.
Fortunately we live in a country where wealth and fame still count for something.
Sources tell me that Hilton's house arrest will be closely supervised by O.J. Simpson.
Seriously: consider the consequences of an extended stay behind bars for an ingenue like Paris. She might have lost her virtue.
Oh, wait.
I think we were all cheated when they didn't allow her to bring a video camera...

Good Lord. Party at the Hilton's. Think they'd let me in? HA!
That's just crazy. There have been people in jail for longer than that for not paying parking tickets.

I can't say how angry this announcement today made me. Her release is so wrong on so many levels it's difficult to know where to begin. There are definately at least two classes in this country... those with all the $$$ certainly are treated differently from the rest of us. Anyone who says otherwise is selling something.

I bit on the You Tube link. Ed, that was a mean and cruel prank.

You need to check the latest headlines. Paris has been ordered back to court at 9am this morning. The judge and prosecutors are not happy. Looks like she is going back to the slammer.
