Iraq finds a way to get the US to talk with Iran and Syria. That seems like a good thing.
This is a little confusing, though: "The willingness of American officials to attend the March 10 security conference along with Syrian and Iranian officials has been widely seen as reflecting a decision by the Bush administration to yield to critics who have argued that it should no longer avoid high-level contacts with Tehran. But Bush officials insist that their policy has not changed."
So...we'll talk with them, but we won't talk with them.
