Brad Miler: "Vernon Robinson has guaranteed that this campaign will be part of the 2006 story. There are two stories about the blogosphere that may result:

"1. It makes no sense for politicians from competitive districts to engage in the blogosphere--it's all risk and no reward; or

"2. Don't mess with the blogosphere."

May I plug?

Clips of the Robinson and Miller interviews from 6/1 (separate interviews) are available on our website fmtalk1011.com (just go to the Brad and Britt weblinks)

Also, please come see Brad take on Mike Hogewood this afternoon at 5:30 (6/3; weather permitting). IT'S FREE!

I also don't think it's helpful for Brad to have such close ties to Markos (and I don't mean that in the extremely subtle "gay lovers" way that VR employs). I just think too many in the district may associate Kos with the radical left (Move On for example) and may be turned off by that association. Of course, the argument could be made that people who are that sensitive to "left leanings" probably wouldn't vote for Brad anyway.

I think you nail it Brad!

One would assume that VR means in the biblical way.... That Vernon really knows how to use the bible for his politics

Vernon knows his goose is cook in this election and Congressman Miller will clean his clock simply on the democrat change issue...

Sorry! I meant Britt....senior moment Britt,

Damn Vernon! Now he has got me confuse who is Brad or is that other Brad on the radio...That Vernon must know all the tricks of devil since the devil is the author of confusing politics...

I don't think VR knows the difference between us either. I think you're right about the "democratic change" issue. As I pointed out in the interview, the "Fightin' 13th" went for Kerry to the tune of 53% in 2k4. You cannot convince me that the president has gotten MORE popular since then. Seems to me that BM would do well to bring out that whole "rubber stamp" deal...

Britt; I noticed you didn't mention how Brad refused to answer your last question at the end of your interview. If I was in the 13th I would vote for Vernon just to have a change. A change of what is "in" just to show them they are doing a rotten job of representing the people. I am glad to see Coble has some opposition; he is starting to flip-flop as much as Kerry. My district's Mel Watt is a sad piece of crap, but because of his gerrymandering from Greensboro to Charlotte along the I-85 track, he will probably be re-elected.
Oh; to have a valid Libertiarian run!

"My district's Mel Watt is a sad piece of crap, but because of his gerrymandering from Greensboro to Charlotte along the I-85 track, he will probably be re-elected."

Probably true, but much more's the shame, because Ada Fisher would probably make a much better congressperson for that district.

Ada Fisher is pretty sharp...doesn't deal from the bottom of the deck like Robinson either (remember, VR was considering taking on Watt at 1 point).

Ada has been impressive every time I've heard her speak. she's a hard campaigner too, but politics is politcs, and Mel is.....well, Mel is Mel......

You got a point about Ada Britt. VR has a thing about Ada and I have seen some of the exchanges between them and it was not nice as a family affair.

Bubba! Have you consider entering the Lowe's Speedway as a candiate for your district?
