This is great news! Thanks for the efforts of the Commission. Thanks Chief Bellamy!! It appears that several Klan/Nazis and the Greensboro Police have and are cooperating with the Commission. I am sure their information will prove very helpful maybe even surprising.
It may be those two groups who surprise us the most with their honesty. It would be wonderful if the survivors and folks involved with the CWP could also surprise us and move a little from their 26 year old script. Their complete honesty and transparency is also essential for this process to really work.
Some hope may exist for a more truthful telling of the story of Nov. 3rd. Who knows, maybe real transparency could provide some reconciliation for our community. We should find out this spring.
